At Century-hardware.com, our goal is for you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. We offer returns for most items within 30 days of purchase date. Please contact our experienced Customer Service staff to receive a return authorization. All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are not refundable.
30-Day Return Policy
You have 30 days to return an unused item(s) in new condition with all original packaging and screws and packaging that has not been installed, used, worn or modified from the date of shipment. You will be credited the full amount minus any shipping charges. No credit will be issued unless products are received in good re-sellable condition. Customers who place orders online are responsible for the accuracy of their product selection and information entered.
Clearance and Closeout Items all sales are final, no exceptions. While supplies last.
Prior to shipping back any product we must be contacted by contacting our Customer Service Department by e-mail, to obtain return instructions. Please do not ship anything back without prior authorization.
We do not accept any unauthorized returns. Please contact us prior to returning any item(s).
Step 1: Obtain Authorization and Instructions

- If a return is shipped without a tracking number the customer will be liable if the item is lost by the carrier and no refund will be issued.
- You may return your Century purchase within 30 days from shipment date. If the return falls outside of this period, poor packaging, used, damaged or not in its original packaging, Century cannot accept the returned items and cannot give a refund.
Step 3: Refunds
The length of time your return is in transit is beyond our control; although once we do receive your return we will process it as quickly as possible. We need to allow at least 10-14 business days to receive and process your return.
Although Century will refund the money within 2 business days after processing your return, your bank or credit card company may request time to process your refund and for it to reach your account. We will notify you via e-mail once we’ve received and processed the return product(s). Refunds will be given in the same form of payment as the original purchase. Please do not request a charge-back from your credit card company during the return process.
Damaged or Defective Product(s):
If a product is damaged or defective you must notify us within 7 days of receipt with photos showing the damage or defect, and we will ship another at our own expense upon return of the defective item. To return a damaged or defective item, please contact us via email to obtain return instructions. Please do not ship anything back without prior authorization. Century Hardware cannot be responsible for shortage claims beyond 7 days of delivered date.
Customer is responsible for returning damaged or defective merchandise to Century Hardware at the address listed in Step 2 of the Return Process. We will not ship replacement merchandise until receipt of damaged or defective item. All damaged or defective returns are subject to verification.
One Year Limited Warranty
Century Hardware products are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship when put to normal household use and cared for according to the instruction. Minor imperfections, surface making as a result of shipping, and slight color variations are normal.
1 Year Warranty -This warranty only applies to the original purchaser of the Products. This warranty is not transferable. Valid the date of initial online/retail purchase. Exclusions apply. Void where prohibited. Proof of purchase required. Valid one year from the date of purchase. We offer a one-time replacement.
Century will replace or make appropriate adjustments when Century inspection team discloses any such defects occurring in normal use within one (1) year after purchase. Sending defective items for manufacture to review at customer’s expense is required. Century is not responsible for removal or installation costs.
If the product(s) is discontinued and is no longer available, Century will automatically replace your product with the most comparable item currently manufactured based upon the net price that was original on the order. We do not accept special requests, nor do we have the ability to upgrade in exchange for money.
This warranty does not apply to:
(A) Damaged caused by use; including, but not limited to, the handling of products and/or parts with lotions, oils, grease, and other products;
(B) Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes;
(C) Damage caused by operating the product outside intended use; Scratches, stains, discoloration or damage from overheating are not covered by this warranty.
(D) Damage caused by improper cleaning or maintenance of the hardware, or any means other than specified in “Requirements for Cleaning and Maintenance”;
(E) A product or part that has been modified to significantly alter functionality or capability;
(F) Product failure or damage caused by improper installation, improper cleaning, product abuse, outdoor use or other abnormal environmental conditions, including, but not limited to, humidity and use in improper temperatures;
(G) Sale/Clearance items at the time of purchase as well as Special Order items
Requirements for Cleaning and Maintenance
To clean and maintain hardware purchased from Century hardware, use a soft, wet cloth material and water. Never at any time should the hardware be cleaned with a cleanser, detergent, chemical or abrasive.
**All warranty claims must be accompanied by original Century Hardware Invoice.
No cancellations will be allowed after 24 hours of order placement. For immediate assistance, please contact our customer service staff as soon as possible via email.
If an item is not available due to backorder on an order with multiple items, we will notify you via email as to how to proceed with your order.
