At Century-hardware.com, our goal is for you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. We offer returns for most items within 30 days of purchase date. Please contact our experienced Customer Service staff to receive a return authorization. All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are not refundable.
30-Day Return Policy
You have 30 days to return an unused item(s) in new condition with all original packaging and screws and packaging that has not been installed, used, worn or modified from the date of shipment. You will be credited the full amount minus any shipping charges. No credit will be issued unless products are received in good re-sellable condition. Customers who place orders online are responsible for the accuracy of their product selection and information entered.
Prior to shipping back any product we must be contacted either by calling our Customer Service Department (888) 700-9778, or by e-mail, to obtain return instructions. Please do not ship anything back without prior authorization.
We do not accept any unauthorized returns. Please contact us prior to returning any item(s).
Step 1: Obtain Authorization and Instructions

- If a return is shipped without a tracking number the customer will be liable if the item is lost by the carrier and no refund will be issued.
- You may return your Century purchase within 30 days from shipment date. If the return falls outside of this period, poor packaging, used, damaged or not in its original packaging, Century cannot accept the returned items and cannot give a refund.
Step 3: Refunds
The length of time your return is in transit is beyond our control; although once we do receive your return we will process it as quickly as possible. We need to allow at least 10-14 business days to receive and process your return.
Although Century will refund the money within 2 business days after processing your return, your bank or credit card company may request time to process your refund and for it to reach your account. We will notify you via e-mail once we’ve received and processed the return product(s). Refunds will be given in the same form of payment as the original purchase. Please do not request a charge-back from your credit card company during the return process.
Damaged or Defective Product(s):
If a product is damaged or defective you must notify us within 7 days of receipt and we will ship another at our own expense upon return of the defective item. To return a damaged or defective item, please contact us by phone or email to obtain return instructions. Please do not ship anything back without prior authorization. Century Hardware cannot be responsible for shortage claims beyond 7 days.
Customer is responsible for returning damaged or defective merchandise to Century Hardware at the address listed in Step 2 of the Return Process. We will not ship replacement merchandise until receipt of damaged or defective item. All damaged or defective returns are subject to verification.
No cancellations will be allowed after 24 hours of order placement. For immediate assistance, please contact our customer service staff as soon as possible by phone or by email.
If an item is not available due to backorder on an order with multiple items, we will notify you via email as to how to proceed with your order.
Shipping & Handling
Please note that orders submitted Monday through Friday after 2 pm (EST) will be processed the following business day.
Your order will be delivered in approximately 5 to 10 business days (excluding holidays) to all continental US addresses, following credit card authentication and payment verification. For delivery to Alaska or Hawaii, please allow 10-15 days for delivery. For delivery to PO boxes in Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories and APO/FPO addresses, allow three weeks for delivery.
